Congratulations Don ! The Country Music Hall of Fame welcomes Don Williams as one of this years inductees. Just Great !!!

Me and Wife are so happy Don is retired and still above the sod. We had thought he passed away. He has such a pleasant voice. Wish a country & western tv program would get all the older folks together for a big show. Us older folks don't need all that dancing around on stage, just good music.

I must admit I am struggling like hell to work this site out myself! Jet (Scotland). I was just looking in to the internet for a present for my mum who has loved Don Williams for as long as I can remember...I've been brought up with his music and thought: 'Right! When is he next in concert by any chance in UK? ..' All I discovered was the most incredibly unthankful message from his website I have ever seen on a official website and got forwarded to this...I'm happy he is retired and happy! The man is entitled, but bloody hell! There is no way I'm letting my mother know this how he says goodbye to his fans and his time in music - she would be gutted...The songs and voice of that man got my mum through a cheating husband, troubled children and a lot more..., he was her 'chill out and take a deep breath' salvation....I'm just stunned how this has ended..........
